Here at Southwest Hacks, we believe a hack is more than just a creative solution to a problem. A hack should bring people together and make them proud of their accomplishments; it becomes great when something is learned in the process. A Hackathon is a competition that fosters learning, creating, and collaborating in an energetic environment which inspires everyone to do their best work. Southwest Hacks is cultivating a tradition of excellence within the growing community of hackers in the Southwest. Together we can grow a technical culture which embodies innovation and a sense of community that persists beyond our weekend-long journey!
